e-VISION, the technical Club  of  ECE Department of RIMT-IET in collaboration with EEAST, a Chandigarh based company, organized a workshop on Microcontrollers and its interfacing for 7th semester electronics and communication engineering students. Mr Rajneesh Talwar HOD ECE and founder of the e-Vision club told the correspondent that the department organizes at least two workshops in each semester to make students aware of the latest technical knowhow. Moreover students are able to correlate the theoretical knowledge with the practical one. Hukam Chand Bansal, Chairman of the RIMT Group of Institutes, appreciated the efforts of Mr Talwar   in organizing such events for the benefit of students. Principal, RIMT-IET Dr Pritpal Singh & Vice Principal, Mr Harsh Sadavarti congratulated and appreciated Mr. Rajneesh Talwar efforts to technically make the students aware of the latest know-how.

Rajneesh Talwar HOD ECE informed that this was the Fifth workshop of its kind organized by the club to make students technically more sound. Mr. Rajneesh Talwar informed that students of ECE have shown keen interest in all the activities of the club and several other activities such as Industrial Visits, paper presentations by students and other such events are planned for the running semesters. Mr Gurmeet, Managing Director from EEAST Technologies, a Chandigarh based  Company, explained basics of Microcontroller and its interfacing with different devices like stepper motor, LED's etc  to the students.

Experts from the company along with Mr Gurmeet took up the practical session for the students. The company had collaborated with Electronics department to present this workshop. In the end Rajneesh Talwar thanked the company persons from EEAST Technologies for enhancing the knowledge of students related to Microcontrollers and its interfacing and making them aware of the software and hardware related to these.
