Gurgaon based Nagarro Software Pvt. Ltd. visited RIMT Group of Institutions, Mandi Gobindgarh to recruit B.Tech and MCA students from Punjab. The drive was specifically for pre-final year students pursuing B.Tech degree in computer science, electronics, information technology and MCA students passing out in 2009.

While welcoming the company officials, Chairman of RIMT Group of Institutions, Sh. Hukam Chand Bansal, said that Nagarro Software is Founded in 1996. It is CMMi level 3 certified company with headquarter in San Jose, California and offices in New York, Chicago, India, Sweden and Germany. Company has been awarded as one of the “top 15 exciting emerging companies to work for” by NASSCOM. It is Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, SAP NetWeaver Certified Partner, Intersystems Cache Technology Partner and Cognos Silver Consulting Partner.

He also said that with this company in campus, RIMT has started placement for pre-final year students, passing out in 2009. He also disclosed that training and placement department of RIMT is also hosting pool campus placement drive for diploma students by Wipro Infotech Ltd. on Friday, 14th March’08.

Prof. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Principal expressed satisfactions over the placement drive and said that company officials were really impressed by the hospitality and infrastructure of the college. He also said that placement department is working very closely with all the leading engineering firms and continuously exploring opportunities for fresh engineers passing out in 2008 and 2009.

He also disclosed that training and placement department of RIMT is also hosting pool campus placement drive for diploma students by Wipro Infotech Ltd. on Friday, 14th March’08. For which registrations has been already done by more than 30 polytechnics from Punjab, Haryana and Himachal with over 1000 data of students has been collected so far for the said drive.
