March 12, 2009 – Noida based HCL Technologies Ltd. visited RIMT Group of Institutions, Mandi Gobindgarh to recruit BA,BSc,BCA,BBA,B.Tech,MBA and MCA students passed out in 2008 and passing out in 2009 for technical profile with a package of 2.0 lacs per annum and non-technical profile with a package of 1.8 lacs per annum.

While welcoming the company officials, Chairman of RIMT Group of Institutions, Sh. Hukam Chand Bansal, said that HCL is a leading global Technology and IT Enterprise. The HCL workforce comprises of more than 51,000 professionals of diverse nationalities, operating across 18 countries including 360 points of presence in India.

More than 350 students from 12 colleges participated in the said drive to test their fate. Out of which 120 made to final round and finally 31 students were handed over offer letters for the post of technical support executive with an initial annual package of 1.8 lacs per annum.

Dr. Pritpal Singh Principal, Dr. Harsh Sadawarti Vice Principal and Prof. H.S.Taluja Director Placements were also present on the occasion and said that company officials were really impressed by the hospitality and infrastructure of the college.
