June, 2010 –

The department of Electrical Engineering organized 6 weeks In Campus Summer Training for the students of 4th semester Electrical Engineering on PLC/Automation and ROBOTICS in collaboration with two companies namely ICAT Solutions, Mohali and Purple Leap, Bangalore based company. During this training period the students would be provided with the latest knowledge in the related fields through theoretical as well as practical sessions through trained Instructors and practical trainers Kits. Adding on this, HoD Prof M.S.Gill said that this training would be very much useful for the students as they are going to get beneficial knowledge which can be helpful in their coming semester course subjects as well as technical ideas can be gathered by the students which can also be a guidance step for their Projects work.

Principal RIMT-IET, Dr. Harsh Sadawarti took the overall review on the course module that has to be given during the training.  The overall effort by the department was appreciated by the Chairman, RIMT Group Dr. Hukam Chand Bansal and  he also added that these types of steps must be carried on which are  used to enhance the students knowledge.
