The four-day Faculty Development Programme (19th to 22nd Sept 2011) at RIMT IET Campus, Mandi Gobindgarh successfully concluded on 22nd Sep.2011. This FDP was jointly conducted by PTU & IBM. More than 65 faculty members from nearby colleges actively participated in the programme. Professionals from IBM, M.D. Khan and Yogi Raj Singh shared their knowledge on Lotus Software, by which e-mail can be exchanged within an organization in a secured manner and more. The participants were imparted training on the use of numerous products of Lotus software such as lotus notes, Dominos, quicker, websphere, sometime etc. Both the theoretical and practical aspects were also discussed. Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Director, RIMT IET inaugurated the event and welcomed the delegates. Prof. Sushil Garg, Head, Dept. of CSE, coordinated the whole programme. On this event, the Chairman of RIMT Group Dr. Hukam Chand Bansal, appreciated the initiative taken by Punjab Technical University in bringing Industry and Educational Institutes together under one roof to share their knowledge and experiences.
