RIMT- Institute of Engineering & Technology, Mandi Gobindgarh signed MoU with Government of India Ministry of MSME-DI. The objective of MoU is to develop Business Skills among the students of Management & Engineering. MoU was signed by Mr. Vijayant Bansal, Vice Chairman, RIMT Institutes and Sh. S.S. Dhillon, Director, MSME Development Institute, Ludhiana. During the inaugural function Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Director of the Institute expressed his satisfaction on the selection of RIMT Group as one of the best Educational Institute for such programme. Mr S.S. Dhillon, Director, MSME Development Institute, Ludhiana highlighted the qualities of successful businessmen and advised the students to think & plan to establish their own business units. Mr. Kundan Lal , Asstt. Director, MSME Development Institute, Ludhiana, expressed the need & importance of self employment in the developing economies. Mr. B.S. Nagi, Officer , MSME Development Institute, Ludhiana explained the programme in detail. He advised the students to take initiative to establish the business units for the economic growth. Dr. Bimal Anjum, HoD-MBA & Coordinator for such events said that in the coming BSDP scheduled from 15th Sept., 2011 numbers of experts from Marketing, finance, HR & Engineering will share their valuable experiences with participants. He told that this programme will cover Entrepreneurial motivations, Dynamics of Entrepreneurship, Business planning, goal setting, Creativity, ISO 9001/14001 standards, Quality Management tools –six Sigma, Quality control tools, role of banks in financing the project, tax planning, inventory control, personnel management, finalization of business plans & projects etc. Mr Sachin Sharma, Associate Professor of the Institute proposed the vote of thanks and said that RIMT is committed to quality education.
