RIMT-IET Mandi Gobindgarh celebrated 25/10/2012 as National Voting day. On this occasion Declamation/Speech competitions were organized by the NSS department of the RIMT-IET Mandi Gobindgarh. As it is the season of elections, so speech/Declamation and painting competitions were held on the Importance of Right to Voting. The enthusiasm of students can be easily seen that 45 students participated in painting competition and 15 students in speech/Declamation contest.

On this occasion Vice Chairman of RIMT Mr. Vijayant Bansal encouraged the students by distributing Prizes to first three positions to Hiteshi, Quranain, Impreet in speech/declamation and Manpreet Singh, Misbah, Neelam painting competition respectively.

Director of RIMT-IET Dr. Harsh Sadawarti shared his valuable views on this occasion that such competitions bring awareness in the society about right to vote, which in turn helps to establish a strong nation. He also appreciated Mr. Japinder Pal Singh Virk NSS incharge of RIMT-IET to kindle the spark of active participation among students.
